Krabi: The Rock Climbing Paradise

We went rock climbing together with our Chinese friends over the Chinese New Year holiday. As in 2006 we went again to Krabi. But this time we stayed on the Tonsai side while they were in Railay Bay.

Tonsai is still a great place to stay: There are huts in the "jungle" and cliffs at the beach. The 5 minute walk that sepeartes the two is acceptable.

Chinese New Years' Eve we had a dinner with all our friends and there were even some fire spinning performances.

Unfortunately I could not climb so much in 2008. I hit rock while cliff diving on the first day. But it was still a great holiday.

Just a tip: If you rent a kajak check the bottom of the boat for holes before renting it. Or just do not decide to go to far away islands.
