New Zealand: I saw more cows than sheep...

Unfortunately I only spent a few days in New Zealand. I heard a lot of jokes about the Australians and saw surprisingly small number of sheep. But I was told there are more on the South Island. The North Island is more the dairy island. We drove from Wellington to Auckland and stopped for some skiing midway.

Much is said about the beauty of New Zealand and I hope I can find some time to do some trekking or unicycling there.
