Chengdu: The city in the heart of Sichuan Province

The Chinese cuisine most talked about abroad is probably the Sichuan. So many people think all Chinese food is spicy. But that is not true.

But Sichuan has more than the nice Sichuan pepper and chillis. It is famous for the remaining populations of panda bears.

Major attractions is the huge sitting Buddha at Leshan, a very old irrigation system or the excavation site of 4000 year old jade jewelry and ritual masks and statues reminding of the Incas in South America.
